How We Fund
The Rigby Foundation operates on the principle that success in business goes hand-in-hand with giving back to society and local communities
The Rigby Group is a family business, to whom giving back and philanthropy remains very important. This has meant that the Rigby Foundation does not to have to fundraise to support its chosen charities. We operate independently of the Rigby Group but we are fortunate enough to be funded by them.
Through detailed research we have identified a number of evidence based programmes led by expert charities, which help local young people to do well in school and have the best chance of securing well paid work.
The majority of our funding is given through our programme Inspiring Futures. Inspiring Futures works with schools, colleges and specialist charities to open pathways to brighter futures for young people in the West Midlands. The programme aims to accelerate students' academic progress, build essential skills, guide post school decisions, boost employability opportunities and enhance wellbeing.
You can find out more about the charities and education partners involved in Inspiring Futures under ‘Who we Fund’.
As well as funding the Inspiring Futures programme, the Rigby Foundation also funds a small number of separate projects, which complement this work. More details on these programmes can also be found under ‘Who We Fund.’
Unfortunately, as our funds are fully allocated across our chosen partner charities, The Rigby Foundation is unable to respond to unsolicited requests for support.
